The Belvedere Glacier (Italian: Ghiacciaio del Belvedere) is a valley glacier located above Macugnaga of the Valle Anzasca in the region of Piedmont.The glacier lies at the base of the east face of Monte Rosa.It reaches approximately 2,200 metres (7,200 ft) above sea level at its highest point and terminates near the Alpe Burki at about 1,800 metres (5,900 ft).

Die Lage des Furkapasses ist übrigens optimal für einen Roadtrip in der Schweiz geeignet. Ganz in der Nähe liegt auch der Grimsel- und der Nufenpass. Ganz in der Nähe ist mit dem Aletsch-Gletscher übrigens auch der längste Gletscher der Alpen. In der Region gibt es daher viele Reiseziele, die sich für einen mehrtätigen Aufenthalt anbieten.

ERINNERUNGEN. Viele Geschichten des Lebens wurden im Hotel-Restaurant Belvédère geschrieben. Trotz der Lage an der Kantonsstrasse ist es ein Ort der Stille und Begegnung. Ab 18 Uhr abends hört der Durchgangsverkehr praktisch auf. Man hört dann nur noch das Wasser des Gletschers, das Heulen der Winde. Viele rauschende Feste wurde hier.
